The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight - Jennifer E. Smith That title is a mouthful and it's one of my favorite parts of the book. It's the first thing that got me interested in reading this book and I love how the author ties it into the story. The story takes place over the course of one day and it's amazing how realisticly everything develops with our characters in such a short time. It's a story about love, family and figuring yourself out. We start off with Hadley rushing to make her flight to London, so she will get there in time for her father's wedding. She barely misses the flight and ends up on a later one. This is where Oliver comes in, because he is also on her new flight and takes an interest in Hadley while they are waiting to board. I loved both Hadley and Oliver. They were real characters with real issues they were dealing with, but at the same time they were both just two teenagers trying to get to know each other. A good share of the story takes part with the two of them on the plane and the conversations range from serious to down right funny. It's amazing how much you are willing to open up to a stranger when you are couped up in a small space for hours. Once they make it to London Hadley and Oliver have to go their seperate ways and we get to go with Hadley to her fathers wedding. Even though I missed Oliver, I really liked this part, because we got to see a little deeper into Hadley and where her resentment stems from. The story here shows that life is complicated and confusing, and sometimes it doesn't turn out the way we want it to. I love the way the story wraps up, it truly was a perfect ending for this particular journey and I'm so glad I got to go on it with these characters. I can't wait for everyone to be able to read it and fall in love with Hadley and Oliver, too :0) http://sarahliveslovesreads.blogspot.com
